The Toyota Highlander 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 01/02/2008. For 2008 the all-new Toyota Highlander is a larger, roomier, quieter SUV. The Highlander returns available in three trims: Base, Sport, and Limited, all in 2WD and 4WD configurations. All models come powered by a 3.5L V6 270-hp engine, paired to a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include keyless remote entry, privacy glass, and roof rails with crossbars. A rear entertainment system, a DVD-based navigation system, and a moon roof are options on the Sport and Limited models. Safety features include a tire pressure monitor, dual front airbags, front and side impact airbags, knee airbags, and roll sensing side curtain airbags.
